Geneva E. Marquez is a mixed media visual artist from Central California and currently resides in Las Vegas, NV. Her work can be described as edgy expressionism exploding with vibrant colors and her urban, passionate style. She works with acrylic, oil, and watercolor mediums and experiments with a variety of texture gels to add definition. Works by Marquez have been displayed throughout Las Vegas. The luxury hotels Venetian and Palazzo have both housed her work in recent years. Fox & Hound Tattoo/Gallery located inside the Stratosphere Hotel and the Arts Factory have also featured her pieces. Her art has even traveled to the Los Angeles, CA arts district to an exhibit at Norbertellen Gallery (2013).

Not only has she displayed visual artwork, Marquez has also performed outstanding live painting acts at 18b Las Vegas Arts District and Town Square’s Nu Sanctuary Lounge. In 2012, Raw: Natural Born Artists – an organization “for artists, by artists”- welcomed her with a feature in their Hollywood gallery. On her downtime, she regularly promotes herself at Las Vegas’s First Friday art festivals after opening her gallery, G.E.M. Artistry Studio. In 2015, she was a co-owner of Bonafide Art Studio & Gallery which led to the operations of monthly art events to help the community grow in the arts. Marquez is currently is traveling and exhibiting her art throughout the United States and is launching an independent art magazine called ARTIST.VAULT.
With all her personal achievements, Marquez believes it’s imperative to give back to the community and is honored to do so. This altruistic artist is involved in charities such as Unmasking the Mind -an organization that auctions art for schools- and Celebrate Las Vegas -a charity for Autism and support of the homeless youth.
